Obtaining a Work Authorization (aviz de muncă)

This is a document issued by the General Inspectorate for Immigration (IGI) at the request of your employer. The administrative procedure and bureaucratic requirements can be complex for both the worker and the employer.

What documents are required to obtain a long-stay visa for family reunification?

To obtain a long-stay visa for family reunification, the family members of a non-EU/EEA citizen must submit the following documents:

a) notification issued by the General Inspectorate for Immigration;

APPROVAL OF FAMILY REUNIFICATION WITH THIRD-COUNTRY NATIONALS

You may obtain family reunification as a citizen of a country outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) only if you hold a temporary residence permit valid for one year, an EU Blue Card, a TIC permit, a “mobile TIC” permit, a long-term residence permit, or if you are a beneficiary of refugee status or subsidiary protection.

Before applying for your right of residence in Romania, if you are married to a Romanian citizen, it is necessary to transcribe the marriage certificate issued abroad.
